Two Indianapolis sisters share a lot more than a close bond, they both gave birth at the same hospital — on the same day!

Sisters Charell and Cierra Anthony gave birth Wednesday at Indianapolis' Community Hospital East.

The babies were due weeks apart, but they evidently had other plans.

"What are the odds? Ask a math professor. All I can tell you is that it's an extremely rare occurrence at Community Hospital East," said Bobbie Brooks with Community Health Network.

Charell Anthony's son, Terry Valentino, was born at 12:40 a.m. He was a week early and weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces.

Cierra Anthony's daughter, Dream Monique, came into the world at 6:29 p.m. She was a week late and weighed 7 pounds, 4.4 ounces.

Sharing birthdays isn't new in this family though, Cierra has another sister who was also born on her birthday — just a year later!

"So these cousins are starting life together on the same day in the same place. Their moms are already looking forward to hosting birthday parties together in the future," the hospital said in a release.
