MUNCIE, Ind. -- A squirrel is to blame for a massive power outage in Muncie Wednesday afternoon.
According to Indiana Michigan Power, more than 4,000 customers were without power around 3:30 p.m.
A spokesperson for Indiana Michigan said a squirrel got into a substation, causing the outage.
Full service was restored shortly after the outage.
