INDIANAPOLIS — The 'Elmo Cola' has been a patron favorite for years, and now St. Elmo is giving locals a chance to create the drink at home.
Indy's own St. Elmo recently released it's own bottled bourbon whiskey that serves as the foundation of the famous Elmo Cola drink.
St. Elmo's Straight Bourbon Whiskey is 88 proof, made with dark cherry, bourbon vanilla beans, and can be bought from many local retailers. According to Susan Decker Media, bottles can be purchased for anywhere from $34.99 to $39.99, and the demand has been high.
Here are the instruction for at-home Elmo Cola's:
1. Fill rocks glass with ice
2. Add 2 oz. St. Elmo bourbon
3. Fill glass with cola
4. Garnish with two cherries
