INDIANAPOLIS—The former Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Company building in Broad Ripple will not stay vacant long.
Sun King Brewery plans to open its fourth Central Indiana location there in a few months, after buying the building at 1021 Broad Ripple Avenue.
"It will be a family-friendly venue that will have a local food component, Sun King beer and spirits, among other beverage choices," said Elizabeth Belange, Sun King Marketing and Promotions Director.
Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Company closed in June and the building was sold at auction this week.
On its website, Sun King describes itself as "an Indianapolis-based craft brewery with a focus on continually creating traditional seasonal and unique specialty beer. Sun King rolled our first keg of beer out of the door in July 2009 and since that time has grown into one of Indiana’s largest and most award-winning breweries, with multiple medals at the Great American Beer Festival® and the World Beer Cup®.
