NEWBURGH, Ind. -- A woman has been arrested after police say her car struck a sled and killed a teenager in southwestern Indiana
16-year-old Davis Collier, a junior at Castle High School in Newburgh, was sledding around 10:15 p.m. Saturday night when her sled went into the road and was struck by an oncoming car.
Authorities say Galina Witte, 20, of Evansville, was arrested and preliminarily charged with operating while intoxicated with a prior conviction and operating while intoxicated endangering.
The investigation is ongoing and authorities say additional charges may be filed.
