FISHERS, Ind. – In addition to IKEA, TopGolf and Portillo’s coming to Fishers, even more entertainment and restaurants are on the way.

On Thursday, developers of The Yard at Fishers District announced the area between 116th Street and IKEA Way will offer shops, a hotel and up to 18 restaurants. The area will also have ample greenspace available.

Construction is set to begin in spring 2018 and tenants could be announced in the coming weeks.

Thompson Thrift Development, head of the project, plans to invest more than $40 million into The Yard – which will also provide a shared culinary accelerator space for new businesses.
