INDIANAPOLIS — You’ll see rainbow flags on full display as the LBGTQ community celebrates Indy Pride this weekend in Indianapolis.

Between 25,000 and 30,000 people are expected to descend on downtown Indianapolis for the Pride Parade and festival at Military Park.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. on Mass Ave.

The four Grand Marshalls for this year's parade are State Senator J.D. Ford, D-Indianapolis; former Roncalli guidance counselor, Shelly Fitzgerald; dance party organization, Low Pone; and Trinity Haven Indy, Indianapolis' first transitional home for LGBTQ youth.

The organization said that all four have "contributed to our community in some amazing ways and we are excited to honor them as Grand Marshalls for this year's Parade."
