TIPTON COUNTY, Ind. -- A 67-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle head-on crash in Tipton County Wednesday afternoon.
Indiana State Police troopers were called to the scene on U.S. 31 near Tipton County Road 550 North just after 4 p.m.
State police investigators believe Michael Rigdon, from Mississippi, was driving a 2016 Dodge Ram pulling a trailer when he crossed the grassy median for an unknown reason and collided head-on with an International straight truck.
Rigdon was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other truck was treated at the hospital and then released.
The cash remains under investigation by Indiana State Police.
