NOBLESVILLE — Two people were injured, one critically, after a serious crash Friday afternoon in Noblesville.

Noblesville Police Department officers and emergency personnel were called around 4:30 p.m. to the intersection of Westfield Road (State Road 32) and Oakmont Drive on the report of a serious crash, NPD Lt. Bruce Barnes said.

The driver of one vehicle, an 18-year-old woman, of Noblesville, was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis in critical condition, Barnes said. The other driver, a 67-year-old woman, of Westfield, was taken to a Riverview Health in Noblesville with minor injuries.

Investigators believe the 18-year-old was turning to go eastbound on Westfield Road when she pulled in front of the other car, Barnes said.

Alcohol and the weather are not believed to be factors in the crash, Barnes said.
