WEST LAFAYETTE — Tyler Trent continues to contribute to cancer research even after his death.

According to a release from Purdue University, the Purdue Center for Cancer Research will honor Trent's legacy through three new collaborative research initiatives.

Trent was the first student member of the center's Director's Advancement Board, and he donated his osteosarcoma tumors to be used for research to help others.
