HENDRICKS COUNTY — A man drowned Tuesday in a Hendricks County lake.
Police and divers responded to a possible drowning report at a home on County Road 550 North, southwest of Brownsburg.
According to the Hendricks County Sheriff's Department, the victim had been doing work on the property and decided to go swimming in the private lake afterwards, along with co-workers.
But the man cramped up and went under water. Divers eventually recovered his body.
The victim's name has not been released.
