Westfield police looking for man who approached girl

INDIANAPOLIS — The Westfield Police Department is asking for help finding a man who approached a 10-year-old girl while she was walking her dog.

According to a release, the girl said a man got out of a white sports car around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday near the Union Flats Apartments in the 600 block of South Union Street and touched her arm.

He is described as a black male between the ages of 20 and 40, between 6-feet-2-inches and 6-feet-4-inches talk and weighing 170-to-190 pounds. Westfield police also said he was wearing a black beanie hat, sunglasses, black basketball shorts, a red tank top and black and white Adidas basketball shoes.
