NOBLESVILLE — Willie Nelson has canceled his August tour dates because of a health issue, but he'll still be coming to Indiana this September.

Nelson's 'Outlaw Music Festival' tour is scheduled to make a stop at the Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center on Friday, September 20. He'll be joined by Allison Krauss and Brothers Osborne.

Nelson, 86, made the announcement on social media following his show in Toledo, Ohio Wednesday evening, initially saying he was canceling the tour.

"I'm sorry to cancel my tour, but I have a breathing problem that I need to have my doctor check out," Nelson posted on his Facebook page late Wednesday evening. "I'll be back."

Blackbird Presents, producers of the Outlaw Music Festival tour issued a statement later Thursday morning clarifying that Nelson was not canceling the entire tour, only a "handful of shows in August."

"The Outlaw Music Festival featuring Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Phil Lesh & Friends, Alison Krauss and many more will go on as scheduled this September," the company said in a statement. "Unfortunately Willie had to cancel a handful of shows in August, but he’ll see you on the road again starting September 6 for the Outlaw Music Festival Tour!"
