TEXAS — The parents of a newborn who died with dozens of bone fractures are now facing charges in connection with the infant's death.

Jazmine Robin died on July 15, 2018 — less than a dozen weeks after she was born premature and released from the hospital as a healthy child — she was just 10 weeks old.

Her father, Jason Robin, is charged with murder.

Court documents reveal the coroner's findings including the fact that the infant suffered 96 fractures in her tiny body including multiple broken ribs and a skull fracture, according to a CNN affiliate.

Prosecutors allege neither Jazmine's mother, Katherine, or father were truthful about what happened to her. Child Protective Services has removed two other children from the parents' care.

Katherine is also facing a charge of injury to a child by omission.

The incident remains under investigation.
