The students from Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky who were seen in a viral video wearing "Make American Great Again" hats in a controversial encounter with Native American elder Nathan Phillips will be meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, according to Fox News’ Laura Ingraham.

Ingraham announced this news on Twitter and on her podcast.

Trump weighed in on the divisive incident Monday night and Tuesday morning.

"Looking like Nick Sandman & Covington Catholic students were treated unfairly with early judgements proving out to be false - smeared by media," the president tweeted Sunday.

This morning he added, "Nick Sandmann and the students of Covington have become symbols of Fake News and how evil it can be. They have captivated the attention of the world, and I know they will use it for the good - maybe even to bring people together."

Ingraham said in her tweet the visit could be as soon as tomorrow.

However, this news has not been confirmed by the White House or Trump.
