The "Indiana Republican Diversity Leadership Series" is a series of leadership classes that will provide the "preparation and resources needed to increase" the engagement of minority Republican leaders in Indiana.

"We're launching this leadership series as the next step of building relationships among diverse communities, helping mentor and empower future government and political leaders from these historically underrepresented communities," Kyle Hupfer, chairman of the Indiana Republican Party, said.

An advisory council will guide the series of classes. The list includes public and private sector professionals from across the state. The council is made up of the following Hoosier professionals:

  • Jillean Battle
  • Stephanie (Wade) Bibbs
  • Shawn Carruthers
  • Brandon Clifton
  • Terry Dove-Pittman
  • Danny Lopez
  • David Olivencia
  • Tony Pearson
  • Jamal L. Smith
  • Alfonso R. Vidal

According to a release by the Indiana Republican Party, the monthly classes will cover topics like civic engagement, campaign management, communications, and state government. Class members will meet state leaders, receive mentorship, and build their network.
