PORTAGE — Two Indiana cities made a national list of best lake beach towns in the country.
WalletHub ranked Portage and Michigan City among the top 50 lake beach towns in the United States. The group ranked Portage No. 29 and Michigan City No. 32.
The cities, located along Lake Michigan, earn high marks when it comes to affordability.
The site's top five lake beach towns are Traverse City, Mich., Folsom, Calif., Cornelius, N.C., Holland, Mich. and Kirkland, Wash.
