TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. -- A teen was killed in a car crash Saturday evening in Tippecanoe County.
Deputies and emergency responders were called around 5:40 p.m. to the 6450 block of East 100 North on the report of a single vehicle crash.
When they arrived, they found Cole Ungaro, 17, of Lafayette, in a vehicle that crashed into a tree. Ungaro later died at the scene.
Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash and say Ungaro was wearing his seatbelt.
