ROCHESTER, Ind. – Community members gathered Thursday night at a church in Rochester to continue praying and remember three children killed while walking to the school bus Tuesday.

Community members and the Fulton County Sheriff say it is important for everyone to come together to start the healing process.

"Anytime children are lost in anything like this it's just a very tragic situation and I'm sure it's going to be a lot harder coming up on the holidays, not having those children there,” Fulton County Sheriff Christopher Sailors said.

A candlelight vigil is planned for 7 p.m. Friday at Mentone Youth League.

Three kids were struck and killed and one was injured while walking to the bus Tuesday morning.
