INDIANAPOLIS — Residents at the I-70 Mobile Home Park on the southwest side of Indianapolis learned they will be able to own their homes outright or get their money back on Tuesday.

A court hearing was scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday after Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill filed a lawsuit against the park's owners in October. The hearing was canceled after the attorney general and the park's owners came to the agreement.

Residents will be able to get a title for their home, or have cash for their homes so they have the resources to move to another location.

The state and Blue Lakes will communicate with each resident and try to find the title, or they will be paid for the trailer. Once this happens residents have 21 days to move out.

Once every resident has either received a title or is paid out, then and only then is the I-70 Mobile Home Park allowed to close.
