INDIANAPOLIS—Problem resolved for a woman who couldn't get her damaged mailbox replaced because a cable line had been buried below it.
RTV6 recently reported on Marlene Woodcock's plight.
A vehicle hit and damaged her old mailbox and replacing it was a problem because a Comcast Xfinity cable line had been buried almost under the box during the winter.
Woodcock was getting nowhere with the cable company until RTV6 reached out to Comcast .
Earlier this week, the cable was moved back two feet.
Woodcock's new mailbox was then installed and she can now send and receive mail without any issues.
RTV6 can sometimes get things done when you feel like your voice isn't being heard.
