INDIANAPOLIS — After a fire closed Kountry Kitchen Soul Food Place on the north side of Indianapolis, the restaurant says they need help to take care of their employees who are out of work.
Regina Marsh is one of the volunteers working for others to set up a donation drive-by to help the employees.
"Indianapolis has stood up and represented," Marsh said. "People want to help this organization. They've eaten here. They've had events here. They've felt at home at the Kountry Kitchen."

The employees who need help know were the same employees who were giving out free meals to those in need just a month ago.
"You know we serve up to 3,000 people every Christmas for the last 11 years," Marsh said. "I've been here since the first day and their are people who volunteer who are here every year. Like if I don't spend Christmas with them I feel like it's not really Christmas."
Several organizations, like RTV6's media partner Radio One, are collecting donations for the employees.
"Anything you can give helps this cause," Marsh said. "And if you can't donate, just blow at us as you go by. That would be pretty awesome to let the folks know that the community supports them."
The donation drive is happening from 12-5 p.m. Tuesday at the restaurant. You can also donate at any Key Bank location.
The restaurant will be closed for several months while it is gutted and remodeled.
