HAMILTON COUNTY -- Keeping equipment and facilities as clean as possible during the pandemic is a priority for police and fire departments.

In Hamilton County, the Noblesville police and fire departments can put donated cleaning supplies to use.

The items came from the Lowe's store on Mercantile Boulevard.

And in Carmel, the police, fire and street departments received professional cleaning from Bolden's Cleaning and Restoration Services at no cost.

Police, fire and street department vehicles and apparatus were cleaned and disinfected to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“We are extremely appreciative of this gesture. In addition to our vehicles and bay areas, we are also planning on having them go into the fire stations to disinfect the living areas in the fight against COVID-19,” said Fire Chief David Haboush.

“Bolden’s has completed several cleaning and restoration projects at our fire stations. They have been a trusted and reliable partner," said Haboush.

Fire department apparatus and stations, including the training center, will be cleaned and disinfected once a week. Police cars have been cleaned, as well as street department vehicles.
