INDIANAPOLIS — A Central Indiana man is hoping his idea will help slow the spread of the coronavirus by helping people to not touch their face.
Tyler Spicknell, who is on the Autism spectrum, is creating face scratchers out of toothbrushes.
"It's not for brushing your teeth, it's just for your face and all that," Spicknell said.

He is hoping to get them to people who are still working, while most are staying inside.
“I’m hoping knowledge of it could spread,” Spicknell said. "I wanted to admit that Debi is the one who came up with the idea," Spicknell said.
Debi Derryberry, a voice actor in Los Angeles, has bought countless characters, anime, and video games to life. She was impressed with what Spicknell is doing
“I think that is wonderful,” Derryberry said. “It’s inspiring on your part to share it with other people.”
A video she posted on her Instagram account gave Spicknell the idea for the scrathers.
"If there's something I want to share, I'm going to share it and hopefully, it'll reach a lot more people," Derryberry said.
Spicknell plans to give out the face scratchers to employees at one of his local grocery stores.
