INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis coffee shop that has, in recent years, opened its doors on Christmas Day for anyone without a place to go has announced it will reopen.

Over a month ago, Neidhammer Coffee Co. posted on social media that they were going to close due to the coronavirus crisis temporarily. Two weeks later, they began opening for only a few hours on the weekends to sell growlers and cold brews to go.

The east side coffee shop announced Thursday it would be going back into business the next day, Friday, May 1.

"We have missed you!...and we know you NEID your coffee and crepes," Neidhammer's announcement email read. "Good news! We're back!"

Neidhammer's new business hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The coffee shop is offering its full menu available for carryout. You can call them at 317-602-5642 to make your pickup order, or go into the shop.
