Rooster's Kitchen transitions to fresh market

INDIANAPOLIS —Rooster's Kitchen, like many other Indianapolis establishments, has adapted and switched up its operations during the coronavirus crisis.

RTV6 already told you about the Mass Ave restaurant completing to-go orders, family style prepared meals, and offering grocery pickup.

From milk to produce and even toilet paper, Rooster's Kitchen is now filling online grocery orders.

If you're walking on Mass Ave and find that a nice treat would be a great addition check out their beer options, as well.

With social distancing guidelines in place, customers can pick up groceries or carryout orders at a window on Mass Ave. Select the time you want it, come pick it up. It's paid for online.

"With the groceries we are still trying to wrap our head around what is the need out in the community," Ross Katz, owner of Rooster's Kitchen, said. "Are people still looking for staples like toilet paper and milk or are they switching to the prepared meals?"

Rooster's Kitchen is providing groceries and meals to front line workers and first responders and are partnering with non-profits by donating food.
