FISHERS — On a typical Friday night, FoxGardin Kitchen & Ale would be getting ready for the dinner rush. But these days, like many other restaurants, it's carryout only.
Right outside of homes in a Fishers neighborhood where kids are riding their bikes and playing basketball is not where you would normally be able to get dinner from FoxGardin. But in an effort to push through these tough times, the restaurant is trying to figure out ways to serve customers.
"We are all trying to figure this out," Spencer Wood, director of operations for FoxGardin Kitchen & Ale, said. "This is unprecedented for everybody. Nobody has done this. None of us have ever worked through a situation like this in our lifetimes."

Over the next few weeks, the FoxGardin food truck will be in neighborhoods across Hancock and Hamilton counties serving lunch and dinner.
"Eating at home seven days a week is not super exciting," Jeff Kopeck, who lives in Fishers, said. "It's a good break for the family and kids to get something different, also good to help support the community as well."
In an effort to practice social distancing at the food truck, cones are place on the ground to keep people apart.

"I think it's great, small businesses like this that can think outside the box and do something like this will help keep their business going and keep some people employed as well," Kopeck said.
Starting Friday, all four FoxGardin family restaurants are serving carryout as well.
"Come see us," Wood said. "It's the only way all of these restaurants are going to stay alive through this."
