NEWARK — A heartbreaking loss for Butler Wednesday at Seton Hall.

Sandro Mamukelashvili hit a short jumper at the buzzer to give the 16th ranked Pirates a 74-72 win.

The Bulldogs were up by six at halftime, but Seton Hall pulled ahead with 11 minutes to play. Then, with 12 second left, Sean McDermott tied the game for Butler with a three pointer, only to see the Pirates come back and win it.

It's two straight losses for #22 Butler, which falls to 7-7 in the Big East and 19-8 overall. Seton Hall is now 11-3 in conference play and 19-7 overall.

Kamar Baldwin had 20 points to lead the Bulldogs who next play at Creighton on Sunday.
