Colts celebrate 100 seasons of the NFL with free Indy Children's Museum admission

INDIANAPOLIS — You can visit the Children's Museum of Indianapolis for free this weekend, thanks to the Indianapolis Colts!

The Colts will host fans at the museum on Saturday, as part of their Fantennial' weekend celebration. The 'Fantennial' is celebrating 100 NFL seasons.

The celebration will begin Friday with "Friday Night Football" at Carmel High School.

The Colts organization will be on hand to celebrate the sport of football at the IHSAA Sectional Championship game between the Westfield Shamrocks and the Carmel Greyhounds. Former Colts Marlin Jackson and Joe Reitz will be on hand to give autographs as well as the Colts Cheerleaders, football skill challenges and other Colts giveaways!

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and costs $6 for admission. (Tickets available through the competing schools athletics offices and online at gofan.co.)

Fans can enjoy all the museum fun as well as visits from Colts Alumni, cheerleaders and the mascot, "Blue." They'll also have a chance to two Colts-themed experiences: The Riley Children's Health Sports Legends Experience and the "First & Goal" exhibit. All attendees will also receive a free paper Colts helmet (while supplies last).

The list of events at the museum includes:

· 10 a.m. – Museum opens
· 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Appearances by Colts Alumni (schedule subject to change)
o 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Dwight Freeney
o 12 – 1 p.m.: Marlin Jackson & Gary Brackett
o 1 – 2 p.m.: Reggie Wayne
o 2 – 3 p.m.: Ryan Diem & Joe Reitz

· 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Autographs and pictures with Colts Cheerleaders
· 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m. – Appearance by “Blue”
· 1–1:30 p.m. – Appearance by “Blue”
· 5 p.m. – Museum closes

Then on Sunday, Former Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney will be inducted into the Indianapolis Colts Ring of Honor at Lucas Oil Stadium during halftime of Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

The first 2,000 fans in American Family INsurance Touchdown Town will receive a free Freeney koozie and all fans in attendence at the game will receive a free stadium rally towel.
