WESTFIELD, Ind. -- This year the Indianapolis Colts training camp will be held at Grand Park in Westfield. The large sports complex sits on 400 acres and can hold thousands of fans looking to get in on all the action.

Vicki Duncan Gardner with the city of Westfield says when the decision was made to build the sports facility in 2016 the hope was to attract large events just like this.

"We wanted it to be something to attract visitors, regionally, nationally. And to be hosting an event like this is something we always hoped would happen,” said Duncan Gardner.

Training Camp starts Wednesday, July 25th at 7 p.m. kicking off with a live concert and family activities.

Before you head to Grand Park, there are a few things you need to know.

Admission to training camp is free, however, you do need to acquire a ticket to enter.

Getting to the park can be a little tricky right now due to several construction projects. Duncan Gardner says you should give yourself plenty of time to get to the park. For more details on how to get to the park click here: How to get to training camp

Parking on campus is $5.00. If you’d like to save some cash, you can park off-site in select lots. There is a free shuttle to get you to the park. You can download the Colts App for more guidance.

For security and safety, training camp will follow the NFL game day clear bag policy. You’ll need to use a clear bag or you can buy one at training camp.
