INDIANAPOLIS -- An SUV smashed into the front of a tavern on Indianapolis' west side Sunday evening sending the driver to the hospital.
The crash happened at the Hi Neighbor Tavern at the intersection of 10th Street and Tibbs Avenue around 5:30 p.m.
Indianapolis Fire Department officials say three people were inside the tavern at the time of the crash but none of them were injured.
The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital to be checked out but is expected to be okay.
