INDIANAPOLIS-- No Indiana Fever player will ever wear No. 24 again.

With help from her father, Tamika Catchings raised the banner bearing the number she wore for 16 years during a halftime ceremony at Saturday evening's game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

It's the first honor of its kind in the team's history.

Catchings played her entire pro career with Indiana. The 10-time All-Star player helped the team win the league in 2012. She retired in 2016.

Catchings recently purchased a tea cafe on Indy's north side where she's been spending most of her time.
