INDIANAPOLIS — COVID-19 has made a mess of the 2020 baseball season. The Indianapolis Indians aren't playing and when the Major League teams Hoosiers typically follow take to the diamond, it will be without fans in the stands.

But there are opportunities to see baseball in person coming up this month in Indianapolis and Kokomo.

All the games involve teams from the College Summer League at Grand Park. The teams consist of college baseball players between years at school.

A doubleheader takes place at Kokomo Municipal Stadium July 17 at 4:30 p.m., and there's a single game on the 24th at 7 p.m. No admission will be charged and it's bring-you-own food and beverage.

College Summer League games will be played at Victory Field in Indianapolis on July 16, 23 and 30—all starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 on the outfield lawn and $10 in the grandstand. Seating is being spread out so fans can practice social distancing.
