INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts waived backup quarterback Chad Kelly.
The team announced it waved Kelly, who was signed as a free agent in May, on Wednesday.
The NFL suspended Kelly in Mayfor the first two games of the season for violating the league's personal conduct policy, and he would have been eligible for Sunday's home opener against Atlanta. He was released by Denver last year after he was arrested for trespassing.
