INDIANAPOLIS — The NFL Combine is underway, and hundreds of players are all in Indianapolis for the annual showcase of the best college talent.

Indianapolis has hosted the Combine for more than 30 years, and the push is on to keep it in the Circle City.

Currently, the Combine is set to stay in Indy through 2021, and Colts owner, Jim Irsay, says they want to keep it here for many years to come.

The Combine is a significant economic impact on the city. According to Colts News last year, the Combine brought in more than 5,000 people, including players, media and fans.

On top of the revenue the Combine brings in, Irsay credits the central location, and the medical attention players can get here as major reasons to keep the Combine here.

"The main thing is we do it better than anyone else. I mean, no one can do it as good as us," Irsay said. "In the end, isn't that what it's about?"

There is no word yet on if and where the Combine could potentially move after that.
