Today marks the 24th anniversary of a moment no Pacers fan will ever forget.

It may be the most clutch moment of Reggie Miller's hall of fame career — the most well-known sequence of events of any Pacers team. And it all happened against the team's biggest rival of the 1990s.

On this date in 1995, Miller stunned the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden by scoring eight points in nine seconds to defeat their heated rival in game one of the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Miller made two three pointers and would later get fouled on a rebound and make two free throws to seal the furious comeback. Then in Reggie Miller fashionh, he jawed at the Knicks crowd and Spike Lee.

"When you're down by six, 15 to 20 seconds left, things don't look good," Miller said at the time. "But, as you know, in the game of basketball anything is possible. It's never over until the horn goes off."

The Pacers would eventually defeat the Knicks in the series and move on to the Eastern Conference finals against the Orlando Magic. No one will ever forget this incredible moment by one of the most beloved Pacers of all time.
