BLOOMINGTON — It took a second half comeback by IU against Northwestern for the Hooisers to avoid a third straight Big Ten loss.
Wednesday in Bloomington, Indiana found itself down by ten points with less than 12 minutes to go in the game. But the Hoosiers rallied for a 66-62 win against the Wildcats who are 0-4 in the conference and 6-9 overall.
IU shot just 37% for the game but won the rebounding battle 40-29.
Trayce Jackson-Davis led the Hoosiers with 21 points and Joey Brunk had 12 rebounds.
IU is now 12-3 overall and 2-2 in the Big Ten. The Hoosiers have a big game Saturday at home with Ohio State, then are on the road for games at Rutgers and Nebraska.
