INDIANAPOLIS -- Another sexual assault was reported at IUPUI on Tuesday, the third such report in a week.

The most recent incident happened at about 11:45 a.m., in the 1000 block of W. New York Street.

According to the university's crime logs, the suspect is accused of sexual battery, battery, confinement, indecent exposure, and fondling.

Police say the suspect's description matches the one from earlier reports.

On Tuesday, police identified and interviewed a person of interest who could be connected to two previous sexual assault reports on campus. Nobody was arrested.

The two previous incidents reportedly happened Friday and Monday.

According to an IUPUI press release, a rape happened Friday at around 3:30 p.m. at the Riverwalk Apartments. In the second incident, the victim said they were fondled Monday at 2:50 p.m. near the 900 block of W. New York Street.

Police said the suspect in both incidents is the same person.

He is described as a man with a dark complexion and dark brown hair. He is about 5-foot-6-inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. On Monday, he was wearing black Nike basketball shorts, white Nike shoes and a maroon sweatshirt.

Both victims said the suspect approached them and talked to them before the assaults.
