FISHERS, Ind. – The city of Fishers got a little more colorful after new art murals were unveiled Wednesday.

The art series titled “Star Spangled Summer,” showcases eight murals on a parking garage in the Nickle Plate District. Local Indy artist Kyle Ragsdale said it took him seven months to complete the pieces.

“It was very exciting,” said Ragsdale. “I've done billboards and murals. I have a mural on the canal. But this is a bigger project because they blow it up so big."
