INDIANAPOLIS -- Rexnord posted the list of 23 employees Monday who could be among the first to go when the layoffs begin. 

The list would give employees with the least amount of seniority notice as to who may be among the first to go during the layoff process.

The ball bearings-manufacturing company, which is location on Indianapolis' west side, announced its plans to move jobs to Mexico and Texas in October 2016.

Carrier is company in a similar situation to Rexnord.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation will vote Tuesday on a $7 million tax incentive package announced last December that may keep some of the Carrier’s jobs.

Despite the tax incentive package, 550 jobs will still leave the state and head to Mexico by the end of December.
