INDIANAPOLIS -- Officers from IMPD and the Marion County Sheriff’s Department’s gang units arrested four people Monday while serving a search warrant in the 4200 block of West Vermont Street.

Police said they were speaking with one of the home’s residents – 23-year-old Robert D. Lee – when they observed a weapon and marijuana inside. Knowing Lee was serving an executed sentence on home detention for a prior firearms conviction, police filed for and were granted a search warrant for the residence.

Inside, investigators found three hidden firearms – including a pistol reported stolen out of Greenwood – a 100-round capacity rifle magazine, body armor and suspected marijuana.

As a result of the investigation, police arrested four people inside the home: Lee; Andrew Tyner, 26; Jasmine Suggs, 24; and Deon Lee, 24.

The four face charges ranging from dealing in marijuana and escape to various firearms offenses.
