KOKOMO, Ind. -- A Kokomo woman has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a man Thursday morning.
Officers with the Kokomo Police Department were called to the intersection of Clinton and Kentucky drives around 6:15 a.m. for an unresponsive person in a vehicle.
They found Yogi Olivarez, 45 of Galveston, Indiana, had been shot. Olivarez was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Police say they identified a suspect during their investigation and Ariana Wagner, 29, was taken into custody on Friday.
She is preliminarily charged with Olivarez' murder.
Another individual, Joshua Allen Smith, was also taken into custody and is facing a charge of assisting a criminal.
