INDIANAPOLIS -- A violent Michigan gang member who was just named to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list has ties to several other states, including Indiana.

A reward of up to $100,000 is being offered for information leading up to the capture of Antwan Mims.

Mims is accused of murdering two men in front of dozens of witnesses in Benton Harbor, Michigan on March 25.

Investigators believe Mims, who the FBI says is a known member of the Gangster Disciples Street Gang, shot Cortez Lamont Miller and Michael Canthrell Johnson in front of approximately 100 people. While the victims were lying on the ground, injured, Mims is accused of shooting one in the back of the head and the other in the face before walking away from the crowd.

“The callous indifference with which Mims carried out his murders has rightly placed this violent and dangerous fugitive on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list,” Timothy R. Slater, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Detroit Field Office, said in a press release. “Our need for the public’s assistance cannot be overstated, and we urge anyone with information related to Mims or his horrific crimes to come forward."

Mims is the 519th addition to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

He should be considered armed and dangerous.

The FBI will have digital billboards featuring Mims up through July 3 in Indiana, Michigan, Georgia, Tennessee, Illinois, and Ohio, all locations to which Mims has previous ties.

Antwan Tamon Mims is further described as follows:
