MADISON COUNTY, Ind. - One person is dead and one person was injured after a crash Saturday morning in Madison County.
The crash happened just south of County Road 200 North on County Road 600 West.
Madison County Sheriff Scott Mellinger said two men were working on a bridge that crosses White River when they were struck by an SUV traveling northbound, according to an initial investigation.
The names of the victims have not been released.
EMS evaluated the driver of the SUV that struck the men but did not require medical treatment. The name of the driver has not been released.
