Kokomo woman arrested for leaving racist letter on new neighbors door

HOWARD COUNTY, Ind. – A woman was arrested Thursday after she allegedly left a letter with racial comments on the door of a new neighbor.

Deborah Cantwell, 63, of Kokomo, was arrested on the suspicion of intimidation and was booked in to the Howard County Jail.

Cantwell allegedly wrote the letter with racial comments to a child who just moved into the home.

She posted an $8,000 bond and was released from jail.
