Crash involving horse trailer, dump truck slows WB I-70 traffic to a crawl

INDIANAPOLIS -- A crash involving a horse trailer slowed traffic on I-70 to a crawl Monday morning. 

The crash happened in the westbound lanes of I-70 at about 7:30 a.m.

According to Indiana State Police, the crash involved a horse trailer, a dump truck, and at least six other vehicles. Six horses were in the trailer, but they did not come out of it.

At least one person was trapped in their vehicle, ISP said. Their injuries did not appear to be serious.
