Indianapolis Colts release 2018 training camp schedule

Fans can get in free as long as they get a ticket

WESTFIELD, Ind. -- The Indianapolis Colts have released their training camp schedule for 2018 and you can see them in action for free - as long as you get a ticket. 

This year's Colts training camp will be held at the Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield and kicks off Wednesday, July 25.

There is no charge to attend training camp, but fans must get a free ticket to enter each day. To get a ticket to see the Colts in action visit the Colts training camp website

The Colts' first practice will be held on Thursday, July 26 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The first Colts city of the season will also be that day from noon to 4 p.m. 

Colts City is an interactive experience for the whole family, Colts City will be open each day practice is open to the public through the first home preseason game.

Daily activities will include:

  • Play 60 Zone, Colts inflatables and 40-yard dash
  • Colts In Motion, the team’s traveling museum
  • Colts Pro Shop
  • Coca-Cola Social Tent
  • Photo opportunities
  • Interactive sponsor displays and exhibits
  • Picnic area

Fans are more ready than ever to see the Colts in action after Andrew Luck surprised everyone by throwing the football a couple of times at the teams' minicamp on Tuesday.

This year's camp will feature special themed days honoring local community nonprofits, military,  youth football and more. 

The NFL's "clear bag" policy for games will be in effect for practices as well.

July 26

  • Colts City: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Practice: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

July 27

  • Colts City: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Practice: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

July 28 - Kids Day featuring specially-priced kids’ meals, the Front Row Autograph Zone for kids-only autographs, balloon artists, face painting, rock wall climbing and other fun activities.

  • Colts City: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Practice: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

July 29 – BBQ Bash Night featuring special BBQ meal at concessions, live music, a performance by the Colts Cheerleaders and a full-squad autograph signing.

  • Colts City: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Practice: 7 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

July 31

  • Colts City: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Practice: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

August 1

  • Colts City: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Practice: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

August 2 – Sunrise Yoga featuring a free, on-field yoga class led by Indy Yoga Movement prior to morning practice. Attendees are encouraged to stay and watch football practice following yoga.

  • Colts City: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Practice: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

August 3 – Friday Night Lights during which youth and high school football teams will be invited to camp.

  • Colts City: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Practice: 7 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

August 5 – Community day during which local nonprofits and players’ causes will be celebrated.

  • Colts: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Practice: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

August 6

  • Colts: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Practice: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

August 7

  • Colts: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Practice: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

August 9

  • Preseason Game vs. Seattle Seahawks

August 11 – Armed Forces Day featuring VIP suites for pre-selected military groups, autograph session, and military displays in Colts City.

  • Colts City: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Practice: 3:40 p.m. to 5:20 p.m.

August 12

  • Colts City: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Practice: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

August 13

  • Colts City: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Practice: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

August 14 – Final Night Practice

  • Colts City: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Practice: 7 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

August 16

  • Colts City: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Practice: 1:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

August 17 - Joint Practice with Ravens

  • Colts City: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Practice: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

August 18 - Joint Practice with Ravens

  • Colts City: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Practice: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
