INDIANAPOLIS — It's been quite a record-breaking week here in Indianapolis.

Barely 30 minutes into the day and Indianapolis shattered another record for single-day low temperature on Wednesday.

November 13, 2019, started off at a brisk 10°, which matched the record set in 1986 for that day. It wasn't long before that record joined the list of shattered records this week when the temps dropped to 9° around 12:30 a.m.

Wednesday's record-breaking temp joins the two temperature records that were broken on Tuesday in Indianapolis, including another one that had been on the books since the early 1900s. Tuesday's temps dropped to 8°, capturing the record for lowest single-day temp and earliest day of the season for a single-digit temperature.

Monday saw our first record broke for the season when 2.8 inches of snow fell in Indianapolis, shattering the 25-year-old record from 1995 when 1.2 inches of snow fell on November 11.
