State police arrest two Noblesville men in Clark County meth bust

CLARK COUNTY, Ind. --  Two Noblesville men were arrested Friday after a traffic stop turned into a drug raid. 

According to Indiana State Police, Trooper Tate Rohlfing pulled over a green GMC Safari for a traffic infraction on Interstate 65 around 2:45 a.m. During the stop, state police said the trooper found Bryan White, 29, and David Stapleton, 27, were wanted on arrest warrants out of Hamilton County. 

A police K-9 sniffed the car and indicated there were drugs inside. Officers then searched the vehicle and found a small amount of methamphetamine. 

State police said that when troopers took the suspects to jail, they found Stapleton had approximately five additional ounces of methamphetamine hidden inside his underwear next to his rectum. 

Stapleton is charged with dealing in methamphetamine 10 grams or more, possession of methamphetamine 28 grams or more, trafficking with an inmate, maintaining a common nuisance, identity deception, and false informing. 

White is charged with identity deception, visiting of a common nuisance and false informing.

The driver of the vehicle, 35-year old Jennifer Ingalsbe of Crawfordsville was also arrested and charged with maintaining a common nuisance.  

All three were arrested and booked into the Clark County Jail. 

This case remains under investigation.
