INDIANAPOLIS -- The body of a man was found Tuesday afternoon outside a church on Indianapolis' northeast side has been identified.
Police were called to the Union Chapel Methodist Church in the 2700 block of E. 86th Street around 2 p.m.
The body of an adult male with no signs of trauma was discovered near a playground, according to a spokesperson for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
The man was identified Thursday as Gary Swenson, 49, by the Marion County Coroner's office. The coroner's office still has not released the reason for his death.
Friends and family had been searching for Swenson since Monday night.
